On October 25, 2024, we handed over equipment/material worth Rs Seven lakh to Advanced Pediatric Centre, PGIMER, Chandigarh. This donation was made by Usha Yarns under their CSR program; Nanhi Jaan facilitated it.
On 29 July, 2024, Team Nanhi Jaan installed two fans and one Air-conditioner (donated by team member Deep ma’am) at the Library of Govt Sanskriti Primary School, Fethpur, Panchkula. We thank Mr RK Sood, Col Vijay Seth, Mr Ajay Kashyap and Mr VK Rawal for being there to handover and oversee installation.
Nanhi Jaan supported Yuva Stambh NGO in Bapu Dham, Chandigarh by setting up a library and providing resources and guidance. Yuva Stambh has now conceptualised a school of excellence in Bapu Dham with an aim of providing quality education to underprivileged children. On May 23, 2024, Nanhi Jaan facilitated handing over four laptops and a desktop for this upcoming school. These computers were donated by Signity Software Solutions, Mohali. Team Nanhi Jaan extends a heartfelt thank you to Mr Amit Dua, CEO of Signity Software Solutions, for partnering in the cause.
Nanhi Jaan, as part of its education reach-out programme, got a platform made for assembly and safety at Fatehpur Primary School. The work was completed in May 2024. This platform was made with funds from a donor who wishes anonymity. We also got a budding sports star sponsored by Adidas. Efforts of team member Sh V.K. Rawal, right from the inception to supervising the project till completion, are highly appreciated.
CloudEQ, a software company helping businesses to migrate to the cloud, developing a holistic strategy, and wanting assistance a DevOps project, has joined Nanhi Jaan as a corporate donor and supporter to help further the causes that Nanhi Jaan works for. To begin with, CloudEQ has donated Rs Two lakh to Nanhi Jaan and has also promised to be associated in our projects in coming months and years. On 20 March 2024, we handed over the following items to the Advanced Pediatrics Centre PGIMER, Chandigarh: 1. Bedside stools with backrest – 60 nos. 2. Executive Chairs – 10 nos. 3. Office Table – 2 nos. 4. ACT machine – 1 no. 5. Aerogen Solo Nebulization Chamber – 20 nos. The above items, worth Rs 6 lakh, have been sourced by a corporate under CSR. Nanhi Jaan facilitated the donation.
On October 16, 2023, we handed over a critical attachment worth Rs 3 lakh, to Department of Gynae, Government Medical College & Hospital, Sector 32, Chandigarh. It was specifically routed through a NGO by a donor for CSR purposes. This equipment helps in diagnosing and treating various ailments including cancer.
On 25 September 2023, team Nanhi Jaan donated a Portable Color Doppler Ultrasound Machine worth 22.65 lacs to Advanced Pediatric Centre, PGIMER, Chandigarh. This machine will help in streamlining critical care at the PICU and improving outcomes in critically ill children. The machine was procured under CSR grant from Canam Consultants and Intersoft Data Labs and Solutions.
On 22 June 2023, Team Nanhi Jaan, in association with A-one caterers and Samarpan NGO, organized a langar for slum children at Samarpan kitchen near Ghaggar bridge, Panchkula. Children had a gala time devouring their favourite Chinese food, followed by cold drinks and gulab jamun. Arshdeep (Robin), who runs the catering agency, sponsored the Langar.
