We donated five Baby Warmers to Govt. Multi-Speciality Hospital, Sector 16 on November 1, 2012, The Nanhi Jaan Team thanks all those who contributed towards the cause. Each Baby warmer saves on an average 20 Pre-term banies a month. Your donation towards this cause will help save at least 100 lives a month.
On January 27, 2012, Dr Sunit Sanghi, HOD Paediatrics, PGIMER, Chandigarh, inaugurated the Ventilator donated by Nanhi Jaan. This 11-lakh ventilator will go a long way in helping to save lives of many critically ill children. A 1000-book children’s library was also donated for the benefit of children admitted in the ICU of the Paediatrics ward. The play area has also been equipped with a 42-inch Plasma TV and a DVD player. Volunteers from Nanhi Jaan will be visiting the play area everyday from 2 pm to 4pm to spend time with the children, hold story-telling sessions as also provide education to the children from poor families. Nanhi Jaan strives to provide critically important machines to hospitals in the city in an effort to save precious lives. We believe that no child’s life should be lost for lack of medical equipment and facilities.
