On 28 April 2023, Team Nanhi Jaan handed over to Department of Pediatrics, GMCH 32 six syringe pumps and ten oxygen sensors. The syringe pumps, costing Rs 1.9 lakh, were bought from a donation from Anuj Sudeora and Shelly Piplani from USA. The above equipment will help in critical care of patients.
On 25 April 2023, we handed over a Bipap machine and two trolleys to Department of Pediatric Nephrology, APC, PGIMER The machine, costing 2.6 lakh, has been bought with donation from Anuj and Shelly Sudeora from USA.
On 22 March 2023, Team Nanhi Jaan donated and facilitated in donation of equipment worth 21 lacs to the Advanced Pediatric Centre PGIMER. It was our way of giving a 21 gun salute to the dedicated team of doctors and paramedics at APC PGIMER at the close of this financial year. The equipment included: One portable EEG machine and Ten multiparameter monitors to upgrade Pediatric Nephrology Department. On February 8, 2023, Nanhi Jaan handed over accessories worth ₹44,464, for monitors, ventilators and laryngoscopes, to Department of Pediatrics, Govt Medical College Hospital, Sector 32, Chandigarh.
On 26 November 2022, Nanhi Jaan donated a Video EEG machine worth ₹5 lakh to Department of Pediatrics, GMCH-32, Chandigarh. The machine was procured under CSR contribution by Intersoft Data Labs & Solutions Private Limited. Mr. Sandeep Passey, Managing Director of Intersoft Data Labs & Solutions Private Limited handed over the machine to Dr. Jasbinder Kaur, Director Principal of GMCH-32, Chandigarh. “The machine will help thousands of children of epilepsy in getting prompt treatment at the Institute”, Dr. Vishal Guglani, HOD of Pediatrics, GMCH-32 said.
On November 21, 2022, Nanhi Jaan handed over 10 Syringe pumps, worth ₹2,98,995, to Advanced Pediatrics Centre, PGIMER, Chandigarh. These are automated drug delivery devices which deliver drugs at programmed rates. They are widely used, especially in ICUs where each kid may need 3-5 devices at one time. Even the best centers face a shortfall when it comes to syringe pumps.
On a request by Principal of Govt Primary School Sanouli, 104 boys who were coming to school without shoes were provided the same by Nanhi Jaan. As per policy of government, shoes are provided to the girl children only.
Nanhi Jaan celebrated Children’s Day on 14 November 2022, with Gazipur Elementary School and Government Primary School, Sanouli kids. Both schools are located on the outskirts of Chandigarh. We arranged to hold drawing competition in both the schools and students from 1st to 5th class participated. In addition biscuits were distributed among all the children. Team Nanhi Jaan also donated Punjabi story books and religious Punjabi books to both schools. Prizes were given to the drawing competition winners and a token of gift was given to cultural program participants. Both Schools also organized a program by the name of Bal Mela. On the same day, Nanhi Jaan also distributed sixty packets of biscuits, ration and stationary to Samarpan kids. Samarpan is a NGO working for upliftment of slum children.
