On 5th April 2022, following items were donated to the Department of Paediatrics, Govt Multi-speciality Hospital, Sector 16, Chandigarh: One unit of Medela Multiple User Electric Breast Pump Seven units of Syringe Infusion Pump Fresenius Kabi Azillia SP One unit of Sylvan Neonatal Vein finder Pediascan Model 100 These machines were bought with a grant from Paraxel, and the donation was facilitated by Nanhi Jaan and NGO partner United Ways.
On January 27, 2022, we donated five syringe pumps to Department of Paediatrics, Government Medical College & Hospital, Sector 32, Chandigarh.
On 22 November 2021, we handed over 500 NRM masks to Department of Anaesthesia and One Defibrillator to Department of Paediatrics at Government Medical College & Hospital, Sector 32, Chandigarh.
Nanhi Jaan has facilitated the “tailor made” creation of a day care room at Advanced Paediatric Centre, PGIMER, Chandigarh for Paediatric Neurology. The room has been sponsored by Usha Yarns and was inaugurated on October 29, 2021, by Prof Jagat Ram, Director PGIMER.
On October 6, 2021, team Nanhi Jaan donated an ambulatory peritoneal dialysis machine, costing ₹7 lakh, to the Paediatric ICU, Department of Critical Care, APC, PGIMER. This machine will help in doing dialysis at the ICU itself rather than shifting critical children to the dialysis room, through corridors thereby exposing them to infections. We thank all our donors for the support and their trust in us.
On 1 October 2021 we donated critical care equipment worth ₹10.75 lakh to Department of Paediatrics, Government Multi-Speciality Hospital, (GMSH), Sector 16, Chandigarh. We are grateful to CANAM for contributing ₹3 lakh under CSR for this cause.
On 11 August 2021, we handed over five cardiac monitors to upgrade Paediatric ICU at Govt Medical College & Hospital (GMCH), Sector 32, Chandigarh.
On June 3 2021, we received a letter of appreciation from Dr Surjit Singh, Professor & Head, Department of Paediatrics, PGIMER, Chandigarh. He appreciated our efforts in supporting the department to help them improve the services for children being attended at the Advanced Paediatrics Centre. We also received a letter of appreciation from Dr Karalanglin Tiewsoh, Associate Professor (Paediatric Nephrology), PGIMER for helping them to develop the Paediatric Haemodialysis facility in Ward 5B, APC. We thank from the bottom of our heart all Nanhi Jaan team members and donors for their hard work, love, support, trust and above all resources which helped us arrive at where we are today.
